Assessment of Policy Support with Health Innovation Narratives in Urban Resident Panels

This study examines how scientific data influences public policy acceptance in urban health environments. By evaluating urban resident panels, we analyze the effect of presenting clinical modeling evidence embedded within health innovation narratives. Utilizing a mixed-methods design, we assess changes in policy support among residents exposed to diverse narratives regarding digital health interventions, remote monitoring, and preventative care technologies. The findings indicate that clinical evidence significantly enhances policy endorsement, provided that the narrative bridges technical predictive data with community welfare outcomes. Conversely, purely technical or overly abstract clinical presentations fail to secure sustained policy trust. This research provides a scalable framework for policy communication, showing that public engagement strategies must pair clinical metrics with local narrative structures to maximize societal support and system legitimacy.References
